Proprietor Barry Ruse has been in the stairlift and mobility business for over twenty years. He qualified as a lift engineer before establishing his own business supplying, maintaining and repairing stairlifts. He very soon found himself responding to requests for additional mobility products and opened the mobility shop in Eccles in 2001.
Today, these additional mobility products account for more than half of the product sales of Mobility Wise. Mobility Scooters figure prominently, together with wheelchairs, riser recliner chairs, bathing, walking and household aids.
The service foundation of the business is a major reason for its continued healthy growth. Says Barry “we have seen a lot of mobility businesses who will sell mobility aids to people. We see ourselves as dealing with people who need mobility aids. Putting the ‘people’ first means that we give advice on the mobility products that they need and more importantly, we are there to repair maintain and replace their mobility products – when they need us”.
Please see our Service Page for details of our dedicated mobility product service centre and the round the clock call out facility.
As the majority of our customers are exempt from paying VAT on selected products, all prices on this site are shown excluding VAT.
